THE FACTORY AT FRANKLIN SELECTED AS A HOST VIEWING SITE FOR THE 2011 CHICK-FIL-A LEADERCAST
Nashville, Tenn. – The Factory at Franklin has been selected as one of the 2011 viewing sites in Tennessee for the Chick-fil-A Leadercast, presented by Mocha Market. The interactive event will broadcast worldwide live from the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday, May 6 from 8am – 3pm.
The Chick-fil-A Leadercast is a one-day leadership training event broadcast to cities throughout the US and around the world. Chick-fil-A has created a unique training event that is not only affordable, but accessible to leaders throughout the world. Official host sites will be able to communicate with the Atlanta headquarters via Twitter allowing real-time comments and questions.
The Leadercast will feature eleven guest speakers, lunch, as well as networking events for attendees. The 2011 Leadercast speakers are: Seth Godin, author, entrepreneur, and marketing expert; Robin Roberts, anchor of ABC’s “Good Morning America”; John Maxwell, author and leadership expert; Dave Ramsey, author and national radio personality; Sir Ken Robinson, author; Dan Cathy, President & COO of Chick-fil-A Inc.; Muhtar Kent, Chairman of the Board and CEO of The Coca-Cola Company; Suzy Welch, best-selling author and noted business journalist; Mack Brown, Head Coach of the Texas Longhorns and 2009 Big 12 Coach of the Year; Erin Gruwell, Founder & President of the Freedom Writers Foundation; and Frans Johansson, best-selling author. Locally, speaker and leadership expert Derek Young, of Young Motivation Group, will facilitate the conversation.
This event began as a simple half day, classroom-format event in 2000 with John C. Maxwell as the sole presenter. Eleven years later, the event has evolved into a full day, experiential conference featuring world-class authors, leadership experts and practitioners. Last year, leaders in 13 countries around the world engaged in the event, it was the No. 2 Trending Topic on Twitter that day and the Atlanta headquarters event was sold out with over 2,000 attendees.
This year’s program, “Voices of Change”, will focus on how individuals and teams can use their voices to create positive change at work, at home and in the community. Each of the eleven speakers has been given a specific “voice” that they will focus on. The speakers will speak on subjects such as leading based on respect and relationships rather than rights and position and how to provide exceptional customer service and the keys to unlocking creativity in your workplace.
Registration for the event begins at 7:00 am central time and the first session beings at 8:00am. The program concludes at 3:30pm. Individual general admission tickets with lunch are $69.00.
