The MEPR Agency Welcomes Auburn University student in newly launched PR Associate Program
Rising Senior and Public Relations major, Stephanie Czaikowski joins for the summer
Nashville, TN —Local boutique public relations firm, The MEPR Agency, announces its new PR Associate program by welcoming the first participant, Auburn University rising senior Stephanie Czaikowski.
Czajkowsk is a South Florida native studying public relations and marketing. In addition to her Associate role she will specifically work closely with Kia Jarmon, the company founder and creative director.
“For the past year we have taken a hiatus from our intern program because we were receiving students who needed far more from their time with us,” shares Jarmon. “With a swift revamp we are back up and running with a more specific Associate program that will explore traditional, digital, and social platforms within public relations and marketing, as well as skills that will ready them to work in a business—PR specific--environment.”
The PR Associate Program will kick off for eight weeks during the summer and is part public relations and part entrepreneur in training. The program will provide more than a college credit but will more accurately prepare students to work in an agency setting, put theory to practice, and allow them to think like an entrepreneur along the way. Ultimately, the goal is for associates to eventually run a PR agency or division of a PR department.
This program, an extension of the company’s mentoring program, the Mentorship Project, falls in line with the mission to educate aspiring PR professionals on the best practices of the industry.
