local HBCU partners with the school system to develop a pipeline for college

American Baptist College

Manage the logistics surrounding Senior Day, a partnership with Metro Nashville Public Schools to expose and celebrate high school seniors as they prepare for graduation through innovation and wonderment - through Snapchat enginner, Justin Washington. Additionally, we partnered with ABC and Google Fiber on a Black in Tech reception hosted at the Google Fiber event space.

We managed the logistics for Senior Day 2017 including: media relations, volunteer management, booking the DJ, entertainment and sound, coordinating arrival and details with partners at Metro Nashville Public Schools and Mayor Megan Barry's office, managed all creative including graphic designs, printing, photography and video production.

More than 1200 students arrived successfully on the campus of American Baptist College with great excitement. The event produced media stories from the Tennessean, Channel 4 and 5, and 760AM.

Client Testimonial.

Where do I begin to tell the story of how in two weeks MEPR Team saved one of the largest city-wide educational events in the city of Nashville, Senior Day. In two weeks, I was expecting 1500 seniors on the campus of American Baptist College, Snapchat Engineer, Justin Washington, and countless tech people from Nashville and did not have a logistical or public affairs team in place to handle such excited students and the Nashville tech community members. Her team met with me and, with the skill of seasoned professionals, assured me that things would go smooth and that out event would be “the talk of the town.” In a matter of two weeks, we were indeed the talk of the town and principals have sent countless notes thanking us for a great program. MEPR is a firm dedicated to excellence in service, there was no question or concern to large or two small to be addressed. Without reservation and with a great deal of trust, I recommend MEPR.
