Kia Jarmon, Senior Strategist

Kia Jarmon is an award-winning public relations and community engagement strategist for MEPR Agency, a company she founded in 2006.

With years of experience working on some of Nashville’s most notable initiatives, Jarmon is the leading  community engagement strategist in Nashville, most known for her innovative and disruptive communication programs - translating grasstops campaigns into actionable, grassroots initiatives.

As a result of Jarmon’s commitment to the community and communications industry, she has been recognized by the Minority Business Center as the Minority Business of the Year, the Middle Tennessee Diversity Forum as the “Woman to Watch”, and the Nashville Business Journal’s “Top Forty Under 40” and “Women of Influence”.



With a heart for philanthropy and mentorship, Jarmon has successfully graduated more than 20 young women from the Mentorship Project, a program for aspiring PR professionals. Additionally, she recently led the launch of the MEPR Agency Innovation Fund, her company's micro-business grant for small businesses.

Kia Jarmon is a highly sought after speaker, known as kiss with a fist, bringing candid yet caring workshops, training, and facilitation within in the Southeast, leading conversations about intercultural communications, intentional storytelling and story listening, community building and engagement, nonprofit communications, and social and digital strategies.  She is also a trained and listed Rule 31 Civil Mediator and navigates the intersection between conflict and communication.

In addition to her entrepreneurial pursuits, Jarmon serves on the Metropolitan Beer Permit board and is a co-chair for the PRSA Nashville diversity committee. She is also a consultant with the Center for Nonprofit Management.

Nicole Galbreath, Account Manager

Nicole Galbreath is part creative and part analytical, a unique combination that creates a balanced approach to her work. 

As MEPR Agency's Account Manager she leads account services, working directly with clients as their day-to-day contact. She manages client happiness, strategic planning, and the successful executive of campaigns on behalf of some of Nashville's most recognizable initiatives. 

Prior to joining MEPR Agency, Nicole obtained a master's degree in Business Administration and started her own virtual assistant company. During her seven years as a virtual assistant, she successfully completed work for over 200 clients, most of whom were speakers, authors, and coaches. 


A native Nashvillian, Nicole attended Hume-Fogg Academic High School ad received a bachelor's degree from Tennessee State University. She has a deep love for the city and has had the privilege of watching the local scene grow and shift over the years. 

Her love for community prompted her to co-create Haven Magazine, a website and series of evens geared towards empowering African American teen girls. She now runs a website called Ctrl+Start which is a series of interviews and tools designed to inspire people to look past obstacles and get started in achieving their goals.

Adaiah Ludy, Community Engagement Assistant

Adaiah Ludy is MEPR Agency's Community Engagement Assistant with a central responsibility to support our client's community efforts. Whether spending time attending community events, participating in community conversations, or scheduling one to one interviews, Ludy is instrumental to our teams communuity efforts.  

Adaiah is a creative soul, with a passion for art and writing. Her favorite tools are paint and charcoal as she believes in making the best of whatever you're handed -- no erasing or redos.
