LOOKING BACK… …LOOKING FORWARD

Looking Back…

Kia Jarmon founded our agency in 2006, two weeks after she graduated from Belmont University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. Starting out, we built branding foundations for businesses in the fashion, film, music, and entertainment industries – we’ve since changed our focus to businesses, nonprofits and government agencies. Four years after our founding, in 2010, we launched the Mentorship Project, an initiative dedicated to providing aspiring PR professionals with real-world experience in public relations. We would also be one of the first agencies in the city to provide social media services and training. This would only be the start of a long-standing, strong commitment to mentorship and career development of students and young professionals. Additionally, we underwent our own rebranding efforts in late 2015, revealing a new logo and brand standards, and ultimately innovating our company image to make room for the explosive growth and exposure to come our way.

Going Forward…

We are excited to continue in our efforts as specialists building brands and bridging communities for businesses, nonprofits and government agencies in Nashville. MEPR Agency is working on the rollout of our line of digital products, which are created to provide an effective snapshot of our top-tier services for entrepreneurs and small organizations. Additionally, we are continuing our mission of mentorship, investing in team growth, and also intentionally strengthening and expanding our relationships with strategic partners who help us maintain our agency reputation as specialists for our diverse roster of clients. The future of MEPR Agency looks blindingly bright— we are committed to providing disruptive communications strategies, thinking outside of the box and enabling each client to tell their own story on their own terms.
